Rudkin & Hicks

tony and ray find their feet

Inspired by the Variety & Music Hall double acts of the past, this wordless show uses physical comedy and eccentric dance to tell a simple tale about rivalry, reconciliation and the power of cooperation.

Two workmen arrive with a mobile trolley to fix a squeak in the floor; a self-important boss and his absent-minded assistant. Slapstick routines ensue, the mysterious squeak reappears in unexpected places, and the story follows its own absurd logic to culminate with a baby unicorn flying high above the crowd.

'Such a wonderful show!'

the visionary

“Modern street theatre at its immersive best – hilarious, ridiculous and yet mysterious and subversive. By the end we are left equally baffled and enlightened, wiping away tears of delight, and you want to see it all over again.”

Joe Mackintosh (CEO Out There Arts)

“Had so much fun at this!
Very funny & quite insane!"
